Hello, my name is Abdul Hasim. I am 68 years old and have been a rickshaw puller for decades. I am the sole breadwinner for my household, which includes my wife and two daughters, and we live in Korail. Due to lung disease and ongoing chest problems, I am unable to operate or rent electric rickshaws. Their speed and constant shaking cause me severe chest pain, making them unsafe for my health. As a result, I am not able to earn as much. Every single day, before I start my rounds, I must pay rent for the rickshaw I use. This daily expense takes away a significant portion of my already limited income and makes it harder to provide basic necessities for my family. I am raising funds to own my own rickshaw. By doing so, I can eliminate the daily rental cost and keep more of what I earn to support my family, manage my health, and live with a little more dignity and security.
