Md. Rifat Hossain: Learning with Pride, Moving Forward with Hope

Md. Rifat Hossain is an active and confident 14-year-old boy from Rangpur in northern Bangladesh. Full of energy, he enjoys playing football—both outdoors with friends and at home with his toy ball. Yellow is his favourite colour, and he often imagines himself one day wearing a uniform, reflecting his strong sense of purpose, discipline, and pride. Rifat lives with his parents and younger brother in a close-knit household supported by a modest income from daily labour. While family life comes with responsibilities, his parents place great importance on education and routine. They actively encourage Rifat to remain focused, disciplined, and committed to his studies at JAAGO Foundation School. Through JAAGO, Rifat needs BDT 2,500 per month to support his education, learning materials, guidance, and structured development activities.
