Nanda Rani Bakti: Gentle, Creative, and Eager to Learn

Nanda Rani Bakti is a gentle and curious 10-year-old girl from Habiganj in north-eastern Bangladesh. Calm by nature, she enjoys writing and expressing herself through simple creative activities. At home, she likes playing with dolls and wearing her favourite frog-and-trousers outfit. Small comforts—such as sharing a warm meal with eggs—bring her happiness and help her feel safe and settled. Nanda lives with her parents in a caring household supported by a very modest income. Her family works hard to meet daily needs and places strong importance on encouragement and education. Despite ongoing challenges, her parents remain closely involved in her life, helping her stay motivated and hopeful about learning. Through JAAGO, Nanda needs BDT 2,500 per month to support her education, learning materials, guidance, and child development activities. Nanda dreams of becoming a teacher so she can inspire and guide others. With consistent sponsorship, she can continue her studies in a supportive school environment and grow in confidence.
