Prachi Rikiyason: A Curious Mind Learning to Inspire

Prachi Rikiyason is a thoughtful and quietly confident 10-year-old girl from Habiganj in north-eastern Bangladesh. She loves reading and sees books as a window to understanding the world around her. Alongside her reflective nature, Prachi enjoys playing cricket and finds happiness in simple routines—like wearing her favourite shirt and trousers or sharing comforting meals of rice and meat with her family. Prachi lives with her parents in a caring household supported by a single, modest income. While life can be challenging at times, her family places strong importance on education and encouragement. At home, Prachi is supported to remain curious, disciplined, and hopeful about her future, even when resources are limited. Through JAAGO, Prachi needs BDT 2,500 per month to support her education, learning materials, guidance, and child development activities.
